A company called !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has proposed maybe the coolest way ever to fly on an airliner. Reminiscent of the old railroad observation cars, the company revealed a concept called SkyDeck that would let passengers sit in seats under a bubble canopy on the top of the fuselage for a 360-degree view of the skies. Passengers would either climb stairs to the seats, or the entire seating platform would be raised into position from inside the cabin. No idea on how much something like this would cost, but sign me up. Trouble is, I’d never want to come down.

Let’s be honest here, who else would be making airplane noises and pretending to a fighter pilot?

I can’t decide if I want that or a Millennium Falcon VR.
Like when they’re in the gunner pods in episode 4.

“And now, an announcement from the flight deck:
PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW! DIE COMMIE SCUM! PEW PEW!”

“Uh, so what were you doing up there?”
“Communicating. Communicating, keeping up foreign relations. I was, uh, you know, giving him the bird.”
This will allow me to quote Top Gun all flight!

They’d have to do something clever to stop it from magnifying all the light straight into your eyeballs. Just watch the top gear episode with geoff the electric car for a taster...

And yet they still haven’t figured out how to make a seat with two whole armrests.

Oh, they know how. But that means cramming less cattle into steerage.
